FORMAT:  18 hole Tournament - four person co-ed scramble tournament.

RULES: 
  1. Single entries will be accepted and the tournament director shall make up the team
  2. A scramble means that all four team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or ball marker.
  3. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. Each team member hits their next shot from the chosen spot of the prior shot.
  4. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. The ball should be marked on the putting green also.
  5. If all golfers hit out-of-bounds, drop the ball at the point of exit.  There will be a penalty of one stroke.
  6. If all golfers hit into a water hazard, drop the ball behind the hazard.  There will be a penalty of one stroke.
  7. Putts need to be made within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.
  8. If the ball you choose to play is in a hazard (sand, water, etc.), the rough, or out of bounds, you can not drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough even if relief is within one club length away.
  9. Men tee off from the white tees and women from the red tees.
  10. All scorecards must be turned in upon completion of your round of golf.
  11. Mulligans may be purchased at the time of check in.  They may be used for any shot except while putting.
  12. If tournament is rained out there will be no refunds.  The tournament will be rescheduled.
  13. Players must also to adhere to all rules set forth by Briarcrest Country Club.
  14. Visitors are welcome to watch the players during the tournament.

GOLF ETIQUETTE:
  1. Proper attire is required (Collared shirts or mock turtleneck golf shirts; NO DENIM, NO METAL SPIKES)
  2. Please smooth all marks made in Sand Bunkers.
  3. Leave the putting green as soon as you have holed out.
  4. Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range.
  5. Balls may be cleaned on the green, and ball marks repaired prior to putting. You may not repair spike marks prior to putting.
  6. Please be mindful of your pace of play and allow faster groups to play through as needed.
  7. Please observe all local course rules.
